Filming concept.

For our film we want to span it over 5-7 days, this will hopefully create a sense of realism to our film. The days could be shorter or longer depending on the events we want to portray on them. A short horror film that is similar to this would be Day Walt horror factories - "there's no such thing". The use this idea to show events over 3 days.

Paranormal activity has a similar sort of idea, it uses video camera as its way of filming so the date and time are seen in the bottom corner of the the scream. This them makes the story believable, as well as showing how fast the events have happened whilst accounting for each day.

The opening titles of Psycho have a screen wipe effect on their openings, which could be a nice use of transition for us from each day, because it keeps each day separate whilst intertwining them, much like the story.

For our film, because it is about a book, we are thinking of using a type writer style effect to best resemble the ideas we are trying to show. It will them be on the bottom of the screen saying the days of the week that the story is focused on.
