Google blogger

Google blogger- We have used Google blogger for both our projects we have done. It’s a good way to record all the work we have done over the year. It also a way we could all see what work had been done and also needs to be done. It’s easy to get to and also easy to use. You are able to create essays as well as power points, mind maps and upload videos. This makes it easier for us to upload any work we do. Also blogger worked really well to the fact we could all have our own accounts aswell as still being able to look at other people in our groups work to see what had been done and what need tobe done.

Final Cut Express

Final cut express - This was a main part of our project as it allowed us to create are actual film. We used this to put together the clips we filmed to create our film, Domesticated. By using this we were able to adjust the sounds on our film, the colouring of our film and add different effects to make our film look more professional and creative. For example we affected the colours of scenes that are too dark or bright to all the clips looked the same. We also added fades to symbolize end of scenes. We were also able to add writing onto our film as a type of credit; we did this so people would know who was in the film and what it was called. We were also able to create our radio trailer on this by using the clips from our film and just hiding the video, we also recorded a voice over and were able to add them to our radio trailer on final cut express.

Photoshop

Photoshop- We used Photoshop quite a lot during our project, first to create our logo and secondly to create our posters. The fact some of us do graphics helped us a lot because we were able to use Photoshop confidently and created professionally looking work. Our goldfish on a tricycle logo worked really well a as we were able to use it in all our work and it looked really good. Also because we created our posters on Photoshop we were able to create dark effects with bright red writing which made it look really effective and made it stand out really well.

Google

Google- we also depended on Google a lot as it helped us with our research into other films, the thriller genre and also other thing we needed to know for our film. This helped us a lot as it made it easier to see what people would expect of our film being a thriller. Also after researching age certificates we were able to decide which age certificate would be best for the film we were trying to create. Also we were able to get a lot of pictures of Google to illustrate most of the ideas we had about what we wanted things to look like.



YouTube

YouTube- As well as Google YouTube was a big help in our research as we were able to look at other thriller films and show illustrate the ideas we had. For example we wanted to create a how to make fake blood video, so we looked on YouTube to see how others have done it, this also helped us understand what we would need to make the video. By doing this we were able to create a successful video on how to make fake blood. As well as research YouTube also plays a big part in our actual film as we have to upload it on YouTube to get it on Google blogger, and also this helps people see if so we can get a wide range on audience feedback.


Word

Word- We also used word alot to create our script, write down ideas and also plan this evoluation befor putting in to google blogger. Word it just an easier way to make notes and write down thing we needed for out film.
